Microsoft's Azure certifications allow individuals to study for and sit a competency-based exam which tests you on your knowledge of the services and tools that Microsoft provides with their Azure cloud offering.
This certification is intended for individuals who are just starting out in the world of cloud technologies and want to start with Azure.
