🎓 Hi, I’m Shone 👋 — a final-year BSc Cyber Security student at Manchester Metropolitan University with hands-on experience from my placement as a Cyber Security Operations Analyst at the NHS Business Services Authority.
🛡️ During my placement, I worked across security operations, vulnerability management, and incident response, using tools like Microsoft Sentinel, PowerShell, Defender, Purview, Tenable, and scripting with KQL. I contributed to successful DSPT/CAF audits, improved the organisation’s Secure Score, and delivered security dashboards that gave leadership visibility over risks and threats.
🤝 The experience didn’t just sharpen my technical skills — it taught me the value of teamwork, communication, and adaptability in fast-moving environments. It’s shaped me into a more confident professional, ready to take on new challenges.
